Nova Salon – Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions outline the policies, expectations, and responsibilities between Nova Salon and the Client (you). By booking an appointment or receiving services at Nova Salon, you agree to the following terms.
1. Appointments & Booking
1.1 All appointments must be booked under accurate contact information.
1.2 Appointments are confirmed once scheduled through our booking system or with salon staff.
1.3 Clients must arrive on time. Late arrivals may result in shortened services or rescheduling depending on availability.
2. Consultations
2.1 A consultation is required for new clients or for services involving major color changes, corrections, or extensions.
2.2 Pricing, expectations, timing, and maintenance will be discussed during the consultation.
2.3 No service will begin until the client confirms they understand and agree to the discussed plan and price.
3. Pricing & Service Changes
3.1 All prices are estimates and may vary based on:
  • Hair length and density
  • Techniques required
  • Product usage
  • Additional time needed
3.2 If the service requires additional steps outside the original plan, the stylist will notify the client during the service and confirm any price adjustments before proceeding.
4. Payments
4.1 Payment is due immediately upon completion of the service.
4.2 Accepted payment methods include:
  • Credit and debit cards
  • Cash
  • Contactless payments
  • Venmo, Zelle
4.3 All completed services are final sale.
5. Post-Care Maintenance (14-Day Adjustment Policy)
5.1 If the client has concerns about their hair, they must notify the salon within 14 days of the original service date.
5.2 The complimentary adjustment covers minor refinements related to the original service.
5.3 This does not cover:
  • Changes of mind
  • New color requests
  • Style or technique changes
5.4 After 14 days, all modifications will be treated as a new service.
6. Refunds
6.1 Nova Salon does not offer refunds for completed services.
6.2 Adjustments are provided exclusively through the 14-day Post-Care Maintenance policy.
6.3 Refunds may be considered only in rare, documented cases at the sole discretion of management.
7. Cancellations & No-Shows
7.1 Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a fee.
7.2 No-shows are subject to a charge of 50% of the scheduled service.
7.3 Clients are given one courtesy chance after a no-show.
7.4 Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations will result in booking restrictions, including deposits or blocked appointments.
7.5 Management reserves the right to refuse future services to clients who regularly miss or cancel appointments.
8. Retail Products
8.1 All retail product sales are final once opened.
8.2 Unopened and unused products may be exchanged within 7 days with a valid receipt.
9. Disputes & Chargebacks
9.1 Clients must inform the salon of any issues before filing a chargeback.
9.2 If a dispute is filed without contacting the salon first, booking privileges may be suspended.
9.3 For disputes, the salon will provide:
  • Consultation notes
  • Service records
  • Receipts
  • Communication history
  • Photos (when applicable)
10. Health & Safety
10.1 Clients must disclose allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, or recent hair treatments (e.g., chemical services).
10.2 The salon reserves the right to decline a service if it may compromise the safety of the client or stylist.
10.3 Only clients receiving services may remain in the service area unless approved by staff.
11. Personal Items
11.1 Clients are responsible for personal belongings.
11.2 Nova Salon is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal items brought into the salon.
12. Photography & Media
12.1 With client permission, the salon may take before-and-after photos for record-keeping or marketing purposes.
12.2 Photos will not be shared without client consent.
13. Agreement
By booking or receiving services at Nova Salon, the client acknowledges they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
